About Us
Together, Laos and Calgary Medical Educators are creating "made in Laos" solutions for improving family medical care in remote and rural areas.
Together, we created and implemented the Laos post-graduate Family Medicine Specialists program providing the foundations of primary care for the country and to enhance rural healthcare. The program is in its 18th year and has 230 + graduates. click here
Together, we created the first textbook of Family Medicine written in Laos language. The textbook was authored by Lao Family Medicine Specialty graduates.
Together, we were the recipients of the 2019 Royal College of Canada International Collaboration Award.
